Practicing since 1996, Kashmira “Kash” Bhavsar practices both Immigration Law and Real Estate Law. She is considered an Expert in Immigration Law and represents corporations and individuals from all around the world, with their family and business needs. She also helps buyers and sellers with their residential closings and title work.
Ms. Bhavsar is 1 of only 70 lawyers to be Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Florida Bar. Although Ms. Bhavsar became Board Certified in 2004, currently only 6% of Florida lawyers are board certified in one or more of the 24 areas of certification; the percentage of Florida lawyers practicing Immigration Law is even lower. As a Board Certified lawyer, Ms. Bhavsar has been recognized by the Bar and her peers as an Expert maintaining the highest level of knowledge, and professional and ethical standards, in the practice of Immigration and Nationality Law. Ms. Bhavsar was also selected for inclusion on the Florida Super Lawyers lists for 2008, and again in the 2009 list. Only 5 percent of Florida lawyers are named to the list. She was selected through an extensive process of peer nominations, blue ribbon panel review, and independent research of law and politics; the list appeared in Florida Super Lawyers Magazine.
Born in India, Ms. Bhavsar emigrated to the United States when she was only one year old and has lived in the Orlando area since the early 1970s. She speaks both English and Gujarati. She is a former Adjunct Professor for the University of Central Florida (where she taught Immigration law) and a former Judicial Law Clerk Intern for the Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court) in Miami, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate from the Nova Southeastern University School of Law in 1996.
